Fire Safety

All non-domestic buildings, and HMO’s, are required by law (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) to have an adequate fire safety risk assessment and a fire management plan implemented and maintained.

This may include automatic or manual fire detection depending on the premises and nature of the occupying business.

Certified Equipment

If a fire occurs, it is important that detection and signalling alerts the occupants at the earliest possible stages to preserve life and property.

Sufficient working emergency lighting can be essential to enable the safe exit of occupants from a burning building. Our installed fire alarm and emergency lighting systems comply with the requirements of BS 5839 and BS 5266.

We inspect, test and certify existing systems in accordance with these British Standards:

Fire alarm panels.
Manual call points.
Automatic fire detection.
Smoke detectors.

Sounders, bells, and strobes.
Illuminated exit signs.
Emergency lighting.
